Penogrande: - silicone inflatable implant which was developed for penile restoration, penile enlargement and additional rigidity of penis for patients with unstable erection
Originally it was designed in Ukraine by professor Knigavko for preparing soldiers (Russian-Ukraine conflict) who had genital injuries to reconstructive surgery by extending their penis before reconstructive surgeries. In most cases patients were so glad with using these prosthesis in their sexual life that they have refused to remove them and perform reconstructive surgeries. After that this expander was redesigned also for penile enlargement and additional penile erection support.
Indications for implantation of the Penogrande prosthesis
- Stretching the tissues of the penis before reconstructive surgery
- Lengthening and thickening the penis in individuals with micropenis or acquired post-traumatic, postoperative defects of the penis.
- Improving erection in individuals with partially preserved erectile function with good arterial blood flow, but incontinence due to venous leakage, spinal injury or psychological problems.
- Restoring erection and partially the length/thickness of the penis in individuals with the impossibility of installing intracavernous prostheses due to cavernous fibrosis or the absence of the glans and distal part of the cavernous bodies.
- Improving the aesthetic appearance of the penis in case of injury to the cavernous bodies

Expander (Main Element):
Structure: Six silicone half-cylinders with a reinforced mesh (elastic longitudinal + dense transverse fibers).
Function: 3D expansion (thickness: 2–7 mm, width: 6–8 cm, length: 7.5–15 cm in size M).
— Coating: Hydrophilic silicone layer for antibiotic/hemostatic absorption.
Stabilizer is placed between cavernosal bodies and pubic bones, Pump is placed in scrotum and Reservoir is placed in Retzius space
